4 Tips to integrate your upgraded practice
Have you noticed that the focus in our Kaiut lessons has changed recently?
Many of you have been commenting on how the class lessons seem to be progressing in a really good way. Some of you are commenting that your body feels better than ever, others of you are noticing memories of injuries that have happened in the past. Regardless of where you are on the spectrum of experience, this is how the Method works over time.
Every week, we are coached by Francisco. He is very connected to us, as teachers, and to each of you as our students. Consistently, he is progressing our Kaiut Yoga Boulder community with the greater Kaiut Yoga community at his school’s in Brazil, Austin, Broomfield, Dallas, Durango, and Telluride. Together we are making excellent progress and building momentum.
As we practice with more clarity and intention, the rewards are far more significant. Like we mentioned earlier, some of you are feeling better than ever. Others of you are noticing stuck areas or even areas where memories of old injuries have surfaced. If you’ve been challenged in your practice this past month, we’ve got a few tips for you as you integrate and adjust to your upgraded practice.
- Make sure to tell your teacher: please keep us posted on how you’re feeling in the practice and in your life. Everything you share with us is necessary, so we can continue to refine how we work with you.
- Take a walk: walking helps to integrate the system. A sweet, gentle walk is often restorative and complimentary to Kaiut Yoga.
- Have a soak: a warm soak with Epsom salts can be neutralizing for some of us. A warm bath helps improve the circulation and desensitize achy joints.
- Journal: tracking your body’s response can be very informative. Plus, as you track your progress, then you’re able to review your experience over time a little more objectively. Don’t worry about writing long passages, a short sentence or two can be helpful over time.
If you know someone who you think could benefit from Kaiut Yoga, please send along this post. We love working closely with our students so that they can get the most benefit from their Kaiut practice.
